Cuban-born artist Ariel, born on the 27th of September born in the Havana neighborhood of El Vedado, raised in Cayo Hueso (Central Havana). Composer of hits like “Esto es pa ti”, “Fruto Prohibido”, “A lo loco”, among others… Founder and leader of Santa Fe, he was the group’s composer and producer. His stage name comes from his nickname DKB: Dkuba.
He abandoned his career as a doctor to follow his passion for music, and signed a deal with the multinational label EMI as part of the group “Cambio Latino”. He later signed with Vale Music and Universal Music Group with his group Santa Fe.

In November 2011, he decided to pursue his solo career and go for a more international style. He composed and produced a song featuring Francisco Céspedes and Angel López (ex Son by Four).  The track fuses bolero, bachata and mariachi music, a perfect contrast.

This year, he released a single on the record label “Blanco y Negro” titled “ELLA LO QUE QUIERE”. A fusion of reggaeton, salsa, hip hop, which he calls CUBATON . The well-known 90’s group “ACE OF BASE” never gave permission to record a cover version of any of their songs. That caught DKB’s attention, who recorded “ELLA LO QUE QUIERE” after becoming the first artist who received permission to cover the song “All that she wants”. The song’s music video features: Abraham García (DJ and contestant of Gandia Shore and Supervivientes 2014) and the Salvame collaborator Kiko Hernández.

Dkuba does not define himself only as a singer and rapper, but also as a hit maker.
